writing this review because finding Pierce Brown’s address and standing outside his house with a weapon is illegal.

i am in disbelief. if only y’all could see my face full of snot and tears. i will actually never recover from this.

i have nothing more to say, because it just hurts too much.

My god what a slow start… you have to get like 50% in before caring about wtf is happening.

I sincerely don’t know how many times in this series Pierce uses the “they’re dead… surprise no they aren’t!” trope but when people actually die it feels less real because of it. Cassius’s death should’ve hurt more but considering he died like a book ago too I’m left feeling not sad about it.

Sevro was so annoying in this book. It’s like Pierce took all his best characters and ripped them to pieces.

What was the point of Lyria’s brain thing if she just removes it??

God everything was just so weird… it’s like he’s writing just to write.

Lysander is becoming the exact opposite of what you thought and hoped he would become. You think he is finally going to come to his senses and ally with Diomedes, Cassius and Darrow, but he slowly becomes more like Octavia. Despite seeming influences on his persona from Diomedes and Cassius, the two most honorable characters in the series, Lysander decides to not follow in their footsteps. He gave Alexander a dishonorable death, and does the same for Cassius. Pierce Brown makes us want to love this man up until the end of Lightbringer, and although I hate him for what he had Lysander do, I think Brown executes it perfectly and definitely came with shock. Not sure what is to come for Lysander…and the abomination(the jackal) has been awfully quite. Excited for this last book. RIP Cassius.

5 well deserved stars, at the cost of my heart. Light Bringer was sure as hell worth the wait, but the final chapters utterly destroyed me. Could barely see the pages through my tears.

My heart is broken into a million pieces and I can't stop crying. I feel sick to the stomach, this one hurts so much... it's gonna take me a while to process this.

I hate that pretentious motherf*cker even more now. I really hope he suffers a horiffic ending in Red God.
