Inventive, zany, highly original and interwoven with vivid social commentary. Feels like the love child of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy meeting My Beautiful Launderette.

I was really excited to read this, but it ended up not really working for me. it's one of those books that feels self-consciously kooky, raucous, and random. like someone who feels they've won a conversation by issuing non-sequiturs after everything the other person says? just not my thing.
