To me, this read as suspensefully as a children's version of "The DaVinci Code." I loved the action and suspense of waiting to find out what the Cahill children would find on their search for the first of the 39 clues. The book was fast-paced and kept me engaged from the first page. Love this for readers who like action, adventure, suspense, and mystery.

Tive a ideia de reler porque pensei em completar minha coleção para doar pra escola onde eu trabalho. Ouvi o livro quase todo, muito rapidinho. Tem muuuito referência à cultura estado-unidense (assim como todo livro do Rick Riordan). No blurb alguém falava que é uma mistura de Harry Potter e Código da Vinci pra crianças e é realmente isso kkkk é um torneio tribruxo de código da Vinci. Bem gostosinho mas é muito livro.

What a fun story! Danger, adventure, clues, treasure...what more can you ask from a book for young ones? Very well paced and the cards, website, etc. just add to the experience. I look forward to continuing my quest for the 39 clues!

I only gave this 2 stars because my son seemed to like it so much. I was really disappointed, as this series is being touted as the "Big Thing" in kiddie lit. I was bored stiff, and groaned each time he wanted to read together!

Not his finest work. It was a slog. The characters were not developed, and the story was uninteresting.
