Very cute WLW teenage love story. Occasionally cheesy but very much a book that I would have loved to have had when I was younger. Touches on Korean’s traditional values and draws out a story that I know so many people wish to see in K-Media. Hope this gets in the hands other younger LGBT kids as this is cute representation.

Easy fun read, though there were moments where I found it a bit boring. All in all it was cute and wholesome ☺️

Really appreciated the discussion of treatment of LGBTQ+ actors and female actresses in the Korean film/tv industry. However, I wish that the story was written in a manner that suggested those themes rather than explicitly calling them out to allow the audience to explore the themes. The author often employed a lot of info dumps and summary, making the narrative more like a synopsis rather than an interesting story. I gettttt that they’re teenagers but teenagers think a lot too?? Like they have complex feelings, even if they can’t quite articulate them at times. Also, the characters felt very one dimensional for me, making it hard to truly connect with them. Hence, the story came off as mediocre for me. For a younger demographic, I definitely recommend this book to introduce these subjects!

K-drama, plenty of shipping, a fantastic bi-character, and much more in this wonderful Young Adult novel!

A big big thank you for my hubby for gifting me this for my birthday in February! It took a bit, but in April I finally read this book and wondered why I didn’t do it sooner, because I really loved this one!

idk i wish it was longer, I wish the relationship was more developed, and I wish she wasn't 16.
