This was def a random read!! I picked it up for a challenge but i loved the twist on the peter pan myth. It def had some spicy scenes and def had a fun premise. I really again loved the regecy aspects and also the fairy tale elements. I really enjoyed the sisters want to save her little brother that was at the ehart of the read!! It was a quick read and prefect to read while i was traveling!!

I don’t know really what to say about this book. Like Wendy was an annoying person per usual but Peter Pan and James hook can GET IT

Such a good book, I really loved it. This capture both the dark and light sides of J. M. Barrie's Neverland, and I couldn't have asked for more.

OH MY FLIPPING GOD! IF YOU LOVE PETER PAN AND LIVE FOR THE SPICE THEN THIS IS IT FOR YOU!

Did my childhood get ruined? YES

Did i mind it? NOT IN THE LEAST

Do i need help? ABSO-FUCKING-LOUTLY

I was slumped and this cured it right up! This book was so good and so fun and so sexy that i’m not even mad that i’ll probably need therapy. I loved the tidbits and details towards the original movies, once they quoted ‘the second stat to the right and straight on ‘til morning’ i lost my mind! From then on it was going back to my childhood, well, all except for the sex. The spice in this, both traumatized me and i overly enjoyed. I will NEVER see Peter Pan and Wendy with the same eyes but hooooooly wow, the spice was too hot and too good that i am okay with the trauma. And i mean it, this book does NOT hesitate, literally from the very first pages you are left breathless.

There’s also a little bit of Once Upon A Time in there too, if you’ve seen the series then Peter’s shadow will make a shit ton of sense. But if you’ve read or know the original story you know that Peter is always portrayed as the villain as well as Neverland having a mind of it’s own and sharing a connection with Peter. The lost boys, the Jolly Roger, Tinkerbell, everything was such a throwback and mix it with some spice and it’s the perfect combination. If you’ve watched Peter Pan (2003) then the references made here will blow your mind and heart away. I was screaming my lungs out when they made some of the references and it was so cute and so just AGH! Right towards the end i was drinking my tears, first from pain and then from joy. If you find yourself in a slump then this is the perfect picker upper.

Loved Wendy, it took me a long to even care a little bit for Peter. Their relationship felt very rushed, just like some of the motives and changes in this book. Kind of like there was a word limit the author had to stay true to. I did like Neverland, and Tink. I have loved Disney's Tinkerbell since I was little and even named my cat after her so I was glad to see her portrayed like this.
This is probably the fourth time I tried a Peter Pan retelling and the first time I actually read the entire story, so probs to the author! But this will be my last one, it's just not for me. I'll stick to the Tinkerbell movies from now on!

The ending!!! For once it was happy and I’m so relieved, it tied everything up and it was just so good. The story itself was interesting, I loved the neverland and lore that was taken from the original book and twisted, it added a lot of depth. Peter’s character was interesting, it experimented a lot with his original concept. A boy who never grows old, with no morals. He was never depicted as a hero in the original book, something a lot of people overlook, but it’s remembered here. Some storylines I thought could’ve been explained more but overall it’s a very well thought out retelling with some interesting character ideas.
