Wow I loved this book. More than the first one, actually, which surprised me. This one started a little weird, I read it right after finishing the first and certain characters seemed a little different but I prefered the changes. I also loved Robin as a character, and the autistic representation was subtle enough for it not to be the center of attention, but noticeable enough to be recognisable, it was done really well and I really connected with her. The plot was much more cohesive and interesting too, in my opinion. I have always wanted to read a time travel story that takes so many risks, and the author really delivered. I was heartbroken when the book ended. This series definitely relit my passion for time travel. I'd recommend this, but as always with these kinds of stories, be careful with the triggers!!
Graphic: Rape, Death, Grief, Violence, Sexual violence, Sexism, and Murder
Moderate: Cursing and Alcohol
