I really enjoyed the examination of the human relationship with solitude, though I have mixed feelings about how the author treated Knight, both in person and in the text.

Got the jist in the first 20% of this book. Not sure why they give away all the mystery at the very beginning. After they explained everything I was like.. okay… I have no more questions.

Fascinating. This story and this person … Just plain fascinating. And well-written enough to highlight it without taking away from it. Not much more to say about it than that.

While this book was gripping and entertaining, the author's insistence on protruding into the subject's life when repeatedly asked not to made me feel uneasy and as though I shouldn't be reading his words.
