Not as good as the first one, but I do love the brooding love interest trope.

How am I enjoying these books so much? This one was so great. I was slightly annoyed with the FMC at first, but she really grew on me. Her knowledge of hunting and surviving really made her match well to the MMC. They were both so perfectly matched.

I really loved the first one in this series however the more I read them the more redundant it has become… I had to take a break from it even though I had like 20 pages left. I could have just DNF’d but it didn’t feel right to me to do that so I powered through and just finished it. Would I like to read the other ones? Maybe I guess we will have to se show the rest of this year goes.

*****slight spoilers*****

Honestly, I don’t even know why I read this book after the first one. They’re both extremely predictable kind of boring and I found myself skipping through the audiobook to get over the boring parts. Also, so much information was repeated, and it felt like a lot of the lessons Georgie learned in the first book were just repeated by Liz, which made me feel like I was reading the same book just told slightly differently (it basically is)

Also, why does Georgie‘s character totally suck in this book? All she does is justify her mates decisions and doesn’t seem like she ever takes Liz’s side even though they’re supposedly best friends. She was so annoying.

A fun, light read. I wanted something easy but entertaining. This was funny, ridiculous, and definitely entertaining. But the writing leaves something to be desired.
