If I were rating on production values, at best this would get a 2. I listen to most audiobooks during my drive, and the background sounds and music frequently overpowered the dialogue. It's nice to get a sense of the scene, but not at the cost of the story.

I listened to this as a prelude to the Dorian Gray series. All three stories are quite short, as I should have expected. I honestly liked the first one best. It had more action. Once I learned that Bernice is a character branched off of the Doctor Who stories, I definitely took to the first story. The Dorian Gray story was a little too brief and static for what I was hoping for. And the last story was a series of false alarms that drove me batty. I want to know more about Peter, but I'm not sure I could put up with the music to learn his story.

I've seen some really good reviews, and I would say the stories are decent to good. The sound effects blew it for me - simple as that.
