I'm not quite sure why I liked this so much, it isn't the background story of what's happening to the company; I think it has to do with the characters of Ian and Alex feeling like real people. There's a lot in this story that normally would have had me rolling my eyes especially the guys getting locked in together, but I liked the way it was written a lot and that compensated from the little flaws I perceived. Another thing that plays in the favour of this short is that I rarely read romance set in the corporate environment and so I'm not jaded about them. Looking forward to other things by these authors.
