Previously I had only read 'The Mysterious Affair at Styles' by Agatha Christie, so I was really looking forward to reading another book by her and this one did not disappoint. I love a locked room mystery and in this case it was a train! I had a lot of fun reading this. My only issue would have to be that it had a lot of characters and it was hard to remember who was who at times. But overall I really enjoyed this and I can't wait to read another one of her books.

A very cute murder mystery. I had never read Agatha Christie or seen any of the adaptations of this, so I didn't know the ending. The pacing was somewhat unsatisfying, especially at the end.
It came off as almost cartoony, like Clue. The descriptions of race and gender are extremely dated. I also had not initially realized it was written in the 30s.
A light, fast read. I wish I had read this in high school.
