I read this on my kindle but I think it would have been easier to read in paper book form. I wish I would have been able to flip back and forth more so I could keep track of the characters’ chapters.

Really interesting story and history but I got a little lost with all the different perspectives

This story bout various Oakland area Native Americans as they deal with their lies and the repercussions of the government's choices and their own on a lead up to the Oakland Powwow. This was a surprising story calling out the uniqueness of the "urban NDNs". Well worth a read.
