Floored is the third book in by Karla Sorensen’s Ward Family series.
Lia Ward is a serious student with some serious goals, she goes in U.K for semester studying for her master's program.
I admired how dedicated she was, same goes for Jude McAllister. He is a football player and he loves playing football. He’s sweet, fun-loving and an all around good guy.
When they see each other, they know there is something special there. That one night between them changes everything for the both of them.
Their lives take a huge turn and they are left to deal with it together.
Lia and Jude had me hooked right out the gate. I loved their domestic scenes, they are just so lovable.

Besides the love story - I loved the family dynamic and the warmth and authenticity with which they were written is amazing, they have a lot of heart and I can't wait for Isabel book, she is my favorite sister.

Karla Sorensen writing is fantastic and she delivers a great romantic story that readers will love!

Lia has never been this far away from her family let alone her twin. Literally across the world. She lives very carefree but she is feeling homesick and lonely when she should be living it up in London. Insert the hot Britt Jude she meets in a pub. Sparks fly and she allows him to curb her loneliness for a night. Jude is struggling with the future and the pressure from his family. His time of being the best in football has come and what is his identity without it. So of course he’ll entertain the American Lia for a night and forget about everything else. Both are struggling with different aspects of family issues, and also avoiding the future. Funny, difficult choices.

for me

I liked this book. It was a quick read and was cute. The storyline was average, not bad but nothing too special. I liked the ending and how the group came together. I have loved getting to see the parents and best friends find love and now the sisters. It’s so wholesome and sweet in a way. Very full circle. Overall it was an average book. I am a fan of the series. I do like the books about the adults more and the other sister books I liked more. So far this is my least favorite one but it was still good. 3/5

Lias story, unfortunately follows the same blueprint that these books follow- spoiler ahead.

Hot athlete, sex and fun, something happens to drive them apart (for months even) and then they get together and everything is the best.

I liked Jude though, liked that his best friend was his housekeeper :)

3 Stars-- I'll start off by saying when we got a snippet from this book I had high hopes, the plot is my guilty pleasure in books (accidental pregnancy, athlete, etc) but this book, for the most part, was flat. The book started off good but after the initial first night, it went downhill from there. There was barely any chemistry or even romantic scenes between the two love interests. There were bits and pieces of cute little scenes but that was it. Most of the book felt like a filler, it was overly disappointing but still had me interested enough to finish.
