I listened to the audiobook which is probably why I didn’t DNF it, but this was so bad lol. It was cheesy and corny and not in a good way. I also lost all respect for Josh for what he did to Jules after she came clean to him and she didn’t ever bring it up afterwards!?!?

Jules tolerates her best friend's annoying brother Josh as little as best frienddom allows. They can't be in the same room without hurling insults. But when Jules winds up working at the same clinic as Josh, and they wind up stuck in the same hotel suite during a friends' trip, sparks begin to fly. Well hate sparks, but sparks. They settle on a not-friends-with-benefits arrangement, but that seems easier said than done. The story is kind of a generic enemies with lovers but the ending of this story starts tying in with the first Kings of Sin book, which I did like.

Glorified assault on Josh’s behalf. I would punch someone if they did what he did to Jules. It would have been a great book without it.

I'm pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this book. 

At first I found the characters hard to love, but I found myself falling in love with Jules' feisty spirit and Josh's... cocky attitude.

as much as i loved josh’s and jules story, i feel like i couldn’t get into it. it’s definitely an enemies to lovers trope, which i normally like but theirs was a bit unusual for me, jules was relatable in the way she thought no one could see her faults and still love her and josh had been lied to constantly, twisted hate will follow me and have a place on my shelf just not my favorite
