It took me a while to read this book because it called for self-reflection so many times. I'd been toying with reading something from Brene Brown for a while, and I regret that I waited as long as I did. This book has helped me heal, commit to being better, and consider my role as a community member, a manager and educator, daughter, mother and wife. Though I'm not prone to go back and re-read books, I will re-read this one and recommend it often.

A series of life things made me long to hear the wisdom from Brené Brown about shame and vulnerability, about how to reframe the ideas that had been penetrating my mind. Having read it the first time, listening to it a second solidified the ideas. Great narration, superb content (still and again).
