This book was fine. I can see why it's popular, but it's not really for me. I figured out several of the twists early on and I kept reading to see if I was correct. Personally, I thought the book was boring in several places when I think it was supposed to be suspenseful and some level of exciting, and what I assume were supposed to "the big reveals" didn't really phase me since I had it figured out.

The writing was okay, but the trauma porn... This was so unethical and wrong. Highly disturbing.
In terms of plot: if you've read 'Girl on the train' and/or 'Last Mrs Parrish' you've read this one. The wrap up of the story also felt... too smooth. Nope nope nope.

I really liked the book I wouldnt give it a full 5 stars because it is a series and I haven't finished the second book and there will be a third coming out. But it definitely makes me want to read the next book!
