The hallmarks of classic Lewis are all there. Welcomed or not. Chronicles of Space Narnia. I'll willingly continue reading the trilogy. It was enjoyable enough to merit that.

I remember really loving this the first time I ever read this. But now I am not a christian anymore, this book reads like a really badly attempted allegory. The worldbuilding is cool but it could have been so much more...

I wonder how many of the "greats" knew one another. I know I read somewhere how C.S. Lewis and Tolkien were acquainted/friends. I really loved the Narnia series but this one is a totally different beast of a setting.

4.5 stars. More entertaining than the cover emits, I greatly appreciated Lewis' creativity and theological interpretations and look forward to the next adventure.

This book is a short and very entertaining read, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes science fiction. With his space trilogy, C.S. Lewis showed that he could write more than the Narnian fantasy he was known for.

Still haunting. And still too smart for me in places.
