It’s pretty, but I’ve never seen a comic say so little. Nothing happened this issue. Some exposition about drugs, and Catwoman lost the fight she started in the last book. The husband who we assumed was killed in the last book spends what seems like the majority of this book dying, interlaced with frames of Catwoman fighting...why do we need so many pages of this? We get it. Then we see dead guy’s funeral. All unnecessary. Just show us the drug exposition in one splash page and go. Still worth the $3.59 for the artgerm variant covers. This is my favorite Catwoman cover to date.

It feels like there was a lot of buildup in this issue. A lot happened, but there are still a lot of pieces that need to be connected before it all makes sense. At least, that’s how it felt to me. There are really two different strains of events happening here. It’s clear they’re connected, we can even guess how…but I’m looking forward to the villainous monologue that will connect all the dots for me.
The artwork for this issue was lovely. Selina looked fantastic, of course. The real highlight, oddly enough, was the antagonist in this issue. It felt like the quality of her skin bounced around based on how angry she was. That or it was very clever shading. I’m not quite sure which.

Short, a bit confusing panels but I think it's going somewhere with it.
