What can you say about a [a:James Patterson|3780|James Patterson|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1468347205p2/3780.jpg]? It was a very quick and entertaining read.

I will be continueing on with the Micheal Bennett series.

I absolutely loved this book!!!! This was a pleasant surprise. I have been reading the Alex Cross series by James Patterson (my boss recommended them). They're so good, I thought I'd try this series out... and I was blown away. I like this series more than I like the Alex Cross series! And I love the Alex Cross series!

I don't want to give too much away but when his wife is in the hospital and he's talking/reminiscing about how much he loves her and how much he is not prepared to be without her...I lost it! (OH! I listened to this in audio book form in the car) I absolutely loved it and was completely captivated by it. I finished it this morning and went to the library for book #2 in the series! HA!

I highly recommend this book to EVERYONE!

A new series by Patterson, following a NYPD detective, Michael Bennett, as he is thrust into a high stakes hostage situation during the holiday season, leaving his wife in the hospital and ten kids at home.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this new series, but I came out fully enjoying it. It started right off with mystery and intrigue and continued on the edge for the entire book. This was one mystery that was hard to predict, not only who the killers were but who was going to be killed next.

This is one series I will continue reading. The sequel Run For Your Life, is on my shelf just waiting to be read.

It's Patterson. It's always the same format, there really isn't much to say review-wise.

I don't like Bennett as much as Alex Cross. He's likeable enough, I like that he's got all these children, and their parts in the book didn't drag like I thought they would.

The story was interesting. The twist wasn't twisty enough for me. But overall, it's passable. Again, this is Patterson.

I enjoyed this read. Loved meeting the Bennett family and I really felt for them and their loss. I have a blended family myself, so it warmed my heart that they all love each other so much.
