I really enjoy the idea that art is what makes us human, and I think it's done beautifully
I also love Rook with my whole heart lol

Have you ever had a cake that looks absolutely amazing, but it was mostly constructed with the underwhelming sugar playdoh that is fondant?
That's this book! I didn't dislike it though, it's a pretty bit of candyfloss, sweet but unsubstantial.

Vraie note : ⭐️⭐️,5

So endearing and cute. Very Howl's moving castle vibes x silly fairies falling for the mouthy mortal

Reading this book was like curling up with hot tea and a warm blanket on a chilly fall day. The plot was adorable and very Ghibli-Studios-esk in vibes.

The main character is interesting in her attention to detail and it made her a refreshing person to read about! This book also embraces a different side of the Fae that I hadn’t seen before. They’re softer than the Fae of Cruel Prince without losing that lack of humanity. It was a different take from what I was used to at the time and a refreshing break.
