I have a feeling that every one of these I read is going to be similar. I like them, but this is the second time I read about the guy meeting this girl who isn't usually his type, can't be with due to obligations in his life but OMG MUST HaVE HER cuz he can't bear to be away from her even though they just met... Same for the girl who is written as self conscious, thinks poorly of her looks. Says that somehow this dude completes her and she aches for him to possess her. It's the same thing each time just insert different type of supernatural type in the blank. Vampire, Werewolf, arcadian, etc. Not to mention each one is very muscular and has long hair.

I REALLY like the Mythology parts of the books. Even though it's Kenyon's spin on it. I like that she incorporated it into the books.

And yes I do like them... Just wish there was a different route with the plots, couples, and such

A story about dragons in the complex and expansive world of Dark-Hunters.

Channon is fascinated by a tapestry picturing a dragon and she's determined to uncover its mysteries. One day while she's studying the tapestry once again, a very handsome man appears and gives her some unexpected answers.

The two share an intense attraction, which she can't help but succumb to and so finds herself mated to a dragon shifter who ends up taking her back in time to his home.

Interesting story and a glimpse into the story of how the shifters of various animals came to be in the Dark-Hunter universe.

Man, this was bad. The type of bad that makes me laugh at how bad is. And it's kind of sad, not only because I hate reading bad books, but because I was so happy to get into the Dark Hunters universe. But this one was an epic fail.

Stay the hell outta this one if you hate

-Insta love. They met and POOF, they were in love already. Like no-no. Authors, please, cut it off with this damn, lame cliché.
-Fluff, fluff, fluff. The kind of fluff that will make you puke and poop rainbows. For months.
-No character building and no relationship building whatsoever. There's little to no story. The characters meet, fall in love instantly (along with the insta-lust), have sex, drama-llama-yabba-dabba, sex, the end.

You won't miss anything if you skip this one, I promise.

I do believe that this was the first Dark Hunter story I read (even before the novels). Due to this, I am a little prejudiced against calling the female mate of a Were-Hunter a "type-swan". Frankly: It's a stupid surname.

Still, I loved this story, because 1. there were dragons 2. there was time travel and 3. there was "true love" (I blame that one on The Princess Bride).

My favorite short story to date!

5/5 Stars

Since this was just a novella, there isn't much to say. However, if you want a steamy, erotic, but still very emotional read, this is a good one. It's a quick read that will get your blood pumping, but still contains a decent story.

I was a little disappointed in this one. I was sort of rushed, especially the relationship between Sebastian and Channon. I know, it's only a novella, but that doesn't mean that they have to fall in love after only one look at each other. It wasn't really realistic. But then again it is paranormal. Still, it ruined it for me.

I recently realized that I did not read this one when I was reading the whole Dark Hunter universe series so well, I just had to read especially since I have really missed me some good paranormal romances.

Sherrilyn Kenyon does not disappoint. NEVER!

This was a fast paced novel that was fun to read and it brought with it smiles and a simple paranormal story that I will recommend it to everyone.

I enjoyed reading this one and as much as I want to write more, I find, sometimes that the shortest sentences describing something make the best references.

I loved it!
