This was such a beautiful book 🤍
Juliette as a character spoke to me so much, be it through her fashion sense or her manners, it felt so nice to see her be able to find love!
This is friends-to-lovers done the best way with Adrian definitely making mistakes (!!) but owning up to them, figuring out how to best apologize to Jules and finally also figuring out that she's the one who's gonna break his ban on relationships.
After one conflict, I would've liked some more time for them to start being friends (or more) again but then something else happens and I can excuse them not having a proper conversation for once because the following scenes *are* extremely cute.
We see such healthy brother relationships here (even if Adrian is still working on them) and I'm so excited to see where this series is gonna go!
Not to spoil anything but the last scene actually made me tear up — if your man doesn't quote romance quotes from classics to you, is he even your man?
To more Carter brothers to fall in love with 🤭
P.S.: Never have I ever read a close-door romance with characters this horny, it was *so* funny, this is the religious women rep we need (just to be clear, Jules isn't explicitly religious at all but I read her as that because I'm often a horny religious woman)
