Deserves a place in every fiction writer's reference library. Excellent basic information about the law, lawyers, crime and punishment, judges, court proceedings, you name it.

An extra bonus is the tips the author gives along the way for ways to incorporate legal situations into a story to make the plot more compelling and tension-filled, or to help develop a character who is a lawyer, judge, or even an individual accused of a crime or contemplating committing a crime.

A third excellent part are the cited references, book links, and web resources listed throughout the book and in the appendices. If a writer can't find help with legal information in these pages, it's a good bet that one or more of the listed resources will provide an answer. Highly recommended.
