definitely not my favorite in the series. I read up to a part and then just skimmed the rest thought, because it was definitely not my favorite book in the series.

I started this series when I was 15. As a young teenager, they were great. For some reason it took me a while to get around to continuing them and they are no longer great. I may keep reading the books simply because of how much I liked the first two at the time I read them but I will keep my expectations low.

SYNOPSIS:
Zoey finds herself in a pickle. Now she not only finds herself having a vampyre fledging boyfriend and a human boyfriend she imprinted with, she's also dating a adult vampyre (who's also happens to be a teacher at her school). She's managed to make sworn enemies with the high (and most powerful) priestess ever at the house of night and her best friend Stevie Rae is a dead undead mess! Zoey can't tell her friends about Stevie Rae to protect them (and herself) from the high priestess so Zoey only has 1 person she can turn to, unfortunately that person happens to be the most hated girl in the school.
REVIEW:
It was a good read, right when it slowed down something occurred to make it speed up again. There was a few hot sexy scenes in the novel but nothing to over detailed (like fifty shades of gray). But if I may ask, what's up with all the typos? Every now and then you come across a word that throws off a whole sentence because its either spelled wrong or used incorrectly. I feel like they could have done a better job at editing it, I saw the same errors in the first to novels as well so for that I took off one star.

Ugh.
Okay. As I said in my review for Betrayed (#2), if Zoey and the men she were involved with were okay with having an open relationship, there'd be no judgement. But she clearly knew Erik had bad vibes from Loren and was jealous, and everyone can think he was a jerk for being jealous, but can you really blame him? (Now the name calling at the end was too far, but ya know.) And then she goes and sleeps with Loren, who she really doesn't even know?? And has kissed like 3x and talked to for more than 10 minutes like, 4x? Ridiculous. I get trying to make things dramatic, but that was unnecessary. Not to mention the sex scene being ridiculous and cheesy (although I know this is a YA/teen book, so I get that it couldn't be detailed or anything. But did it really have to be so ridiculously cheesy?)
Still find the teen dialogue obnoxious and unrealistic.
Yet, I'm still reading.
I can't lie again, I am intrigued by the plot with Stevie Rae and the fledglings that came back to "life," and the twist with Neferet. Therefore....I continue on.
