I was given this book as an advance reader copy and I couldn’t put it down.
“I’m a bad mother, it’s been 5 years since I killed my child”. If I could give a book a higher rating I would! This book grabbed me from the start! Walker did an excellent job with character development- you could feel the pain, fear, and terror of each person.
Walker kept dropping tidbits of information with which I tried to figure out the ending but every time I was wrong! Oh my goodness- there were more and more surprises.
Small town- big secrets- you never knew who to trust- even the ending totally blew me away!!
This book was amazing-I recommend everyone to read this- you will not be disappointed!!#stmartinspress

The book was very enjoyable up until the end. It’s like the author couldn’t resist adding one more twist, despite it not being well-foreshadowed, established, or even making sense in the narrative she constructed.

I was definitely NOT expecting that ending woah! The entire time I was questioning who to trust because everyone involved in this disappearance was so suspicious. And that little girl is still so creepy and will need a life time of therapy

This was a fun page turner. I recommend it if you like the mystery/ psychological thriller genre. Really great as an audiobook.

Really great thriller that kept me reading and interested the entire time! I thought I had it figured out over and over but the twists kept coming and they were great. I think this was well written with a clear style and I enjoyed the story and the two different POVs.
