Read this with my Children's Lit class. It was hilarious watching the class try to figure out what was going on in the pictures. Runton did a wonderful job and it was absolutely adorable. I do believe that children who pick up this book will enjoy it thoroughly, with the cartoon illustrations and amazingly well-done facial expressions to go along with the story.

A fun wordless picture book--great story.

I LOVE Owly! The only reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because there are two pages in this book where the pictures are divided by the book binding and I didn't like the way that flowed. Besides that, this is beautiful, awesome Owly, now in full color.

A sweet, full-color picture book addition to the Owly series. Owly and Wormy befriend two caterpillars and spend a happy summer with them. But one morning their friends have disappeared! Where have they gone? Will they ever come back?

Owly makes a transition from graphic novel to picture book. Runton's illustrations are vibrant and it is a sweet story of friendship between Owly & Wormy and some bugs that come to live among their plants.
