I did not expect things to take this turn. I’ll admit the whole staged argument amongst Inara, Sheppard, and Jayne was pretty hilarious though. Even if it took Jayne a while to catch on. Actually, let’s change that to ‘especially.’ I adore seeing these characters interact.
Once again Mal’s attempt to be honorable managed to bite him in the butt. But seriously, who’s surprised by that. At least we know it’s the same old Mal in this series.
I’m still a bit sad about the timeline of this series. It’s hard loving it quite as much when you know the fate of a couple of these characters. I really am trying to not let it get to me, but issues like this make it just a touch bit harder.
