all the stories are well written and the influence of the original stories are clear. i like how the book has the originals in so even if you're unfamiliar, you can read and understand them too.

I only liked about 2 stories out of the whole book. I love Edgar Allen Poe so I thought this would be right up my alley. I was wrong. Very wrong. I wanted more out of this book. Sadly I didn't get anything.

While every story was not an all-time favorite, this is one of my favorite creepy anthologies that I've read in recent years.

As with most anthologies, some of the stories were better than others. I really liked that the original stories were included as well as the new stories inspired by Poe's work. I had not read much Poe since I was in high school, it was wonderful to experience them again as an adult this time.
