ursula remains the best. this was a cute, funny, honest, insightful essay collection made up of archived blog posts from her blog, mostly from the early to mid 2010s. her ability to write at length about everything as well as endearing little love letters to her cat made for a wonderful spring read.

The essays vary from reflective to light-hearted on a broad range of topics - everything from old age, to politics, to nature, to the joys of a cat. Lovely read.

This was like reading letters that Le Guin wrote to me! Intimate, insightful, and memorable.

Worth reading if you’re a Guin head but you can skip otherwise. Best essay is The Horsies Upstairs

I really love the way Ursula K Le Guin writes. Her reflections were intriguing, the tales of Pard amusing and many posts were quite thought provoking. I really enjoyed the various writings contained in this collection, and I'm glad it was recommended to be my a YouTuber (I forgot which one)
