This volume alters the usual Star Wars Adventures format of several different stories in one book. This time the book has just two stories, and they're related. The first is about Rey locating and scavenging a fallen Star Destroyer on Jakku. The second is a flashback to the battle in which that Star Destroyer crashed. I like the pairing of the stories, both of which are lite fun, as the SW Adventures series almost always is.

This was the first <I>Star Wars Adventures</i> comic I've read, and I enjoyed it. It was fun seeing Rey being such a girl boss, the chaos scavengers trying to steal her prize. How can I forget Zeet? What an excellent little droid.

Hands down, this is the best that I have read from Star Wars Adventures comics. I love that we hear about 2 timelines that are related as Rey discovers the remains of the Spectral, a Star Destroyer that went down over Jakku as well as the story of what brought it down. This was action packes and a great story. This really makes me ready to read Aftermath: Empire's End, which will be read hopefully before the year is out. So much fun!
