I loved this creative team's take on Black Canary. The art is incredible!

I love Black Canary, and I guess this does feel like her character, but the concept just kills me.

Definitely weaker than the first half. The story felt kind of rushed and convoluted and more like a bad Scooby-Doo movie. I wasn't a fan of the art style in some of the issues and preferred the ones Annie Wu was the artist.

Very jumpy in plot and art style, so it gets confusing, but I love the art for this so it gets 4 stars

Current series of ongoing comics that reference the previous series are rough. It can quickly alienate new fans.

Like Fletcher's first volume, this Black Canary adventure feels rushed and stuffed with a lot of things that aren't built up, fleshed out, or developed particularly well. But having Babs around is always fun, and the artwork is gorgeous as ever.

Given how the first volume ended, I was curious how the second volume would connect. It's a loose connection but it does fill in some of the plot holes of the first volume. The art and colours are just as awesome as last time. I felt like this volume very much tips the hat in the direction of the Rebirth launch DC started in 2016.

I enjoyed Volume 1, and Fletcher's run on Batgirl, but this is a trainwreck of a story. Ninja death cults, villains betraying the heroes, random characters showing up out of nowhere, travel between Gotham and Berlin that apparently only takes a couple of minutes, and a plot that's both boring and rushed. Now I see why it took me so long to get around to this.
