Let me be clear, I don't agree with what this author did, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy her book. I got this from the library after reading and liking book one before I knew anything about her or what she did. Right before I started reading this I went on goodreads, and stumbled upon everything. I decided that I'd give this books a shot anyways because of how much I liked book one. Now onto my unbiased review.

I really loved Kippy's story in the first book. I thought it was a fun mix of murder-mystery, comedy, with a hint of romance. This book didn't quite live up to all my expectations, but I still liked it.

It still maintains some of the comedy elements form the first book, but for me, the mystery left a lot to be desired. It wasn't as interesting or exciting as book one. The murderer in this story was way too predictable, and since this book was so short it felt a little underdeveloped. But I still had fun reading about Kippy and her friends again.

I enjoyed this as much as the first. it's like Fargo on crack for teens. it's the blackest of black comedy. I'll do a proper review after work when I'm not on a smartphone. I want a 3rd!

still don't approve of Hale's actions or those of the bloggers.

I liked the first one a little better but this was a nice continuation of the story. I am hoping for a third.

Sequel to No One Else Can Have You. It’s good, not great, and the twist was predictable. It ends on a sort of cliffhanger and there’s not a third book so keep in mind if you hate open endings.

What can I say, that won't sound completely insane?
So yeah I read the book and my review is solely about the book, even though I don not agree with what she did I am not bring that into my review.

I disliked this one more than I dislike the first one... the first one was alright, but this one was a crap ton of insane! For one thing, Kippy calling Davey Lampy is the dumbest thing I have ever heard in my life! Secondly, Dom is an ass of a father. Third Kippy is just I can't even really explain what the hell Kippy is! I was debating on whether or not I was actually going to read this, but then I saw that it was only 260 pages and that would only take me a day to read. So it was okay not the best thing ever...really insane, and I am slightly upset with the way she portrayed mental illness, almost like it is the butt of some kind of awful joke.

This author is hilarious and has such a quirky style that I love! I will definitely be reading anything she writes.

I found the first one in the series odd. I found this one....boring. I think the quirky odd parts grated a little for me this time.
but the cover is still interesting.

My review of this book is pretty much the same as the first in this series...except I didn't figure out whodunnit....again, the secondary characters and setting of this series is what makes it. Ended on a sorta cliffhanger so there is definitely a third book in the works.

After reading the first book, No One Else Can Have You, the other day, I caved and bought this one. Like the first book, Nothing Bad is Going to Happen is funny and quirky and shows a great deal of growth and development for a number of characters. There were a few things I felt were "off" given the last scenes of No One Else Can Have You but nothing that kept me from continuing. The mystery was a good one as well, even if it did mean the absence of Davey for much of the book. Now I just have to wait patiently for the next installment of Kippy Bushman's antics!

It feels like the mystery isn't too complex with this series (I did figure the murderer out again pretty quickly), but I honestly really enjoy the ride. This is a wonderful portrait of a town and a damaged but delightful heroine. Not, like, perfect, but really really fun and enjoyable.
