I hate to say it but yeah ship-based books are a no for me. I dont know why but just cant get into em. Really enjoyed the first third to half of the book but just lost real momentum/interest. Its on me but a lot more ya than i realized. I do kinda wanna know what the demon will do when he realizes he has a daughter, maybe i’ll look online.

It took a while for the actual plot to get going, so it made reading it a bit of a chore. However, when I turned to the audiobook, I finished it in one day, I loved it. It added more emotion and energy to the story
