This series is a disappointment in the "isekai cooking" genre. The main character is too passive and indecisive, making for a repetitive and boring storyline. The cooking segments are also underwhelming, with minimal description and overly simplistic reactions from the familiar. Additionally, the English translation is riddled with grammar and spelling mistakes, which greatly detracts from the overall experience. The lack of plot and flat characters make this series not worth reading in the long run.

And while you may not feel a terrible sense of progression, that's mostly because it sticks to a mostly slice of life story. This works well for this kind of content.
