A young couple on their honeymoon discovers a mysterious bag floating in the ocean and an undiscovered plane crash on the ocean floor. The contents of the bag lead them on a wild and dangerous ride that threatens their marriage and their very lives.

This one was entertaining but predictable. It was a fun read and fast, but no major surprises.

as far as thrillers goes, this one seemed a little too far fetched and at times it felt like the author was just throwing out plots trying to make one stick. still a good read despite this.

Went with a 3 out of 5 here. The story and the pacing were good, however the writing of Ms. Steadman left a lot to be desired as it seemed to go from narrative to introspective thought without skipping a beat. Despite that it was on course to be 4 stars until the end when I feel the author kind of copped out of the ending despite there being numerous other endings available to her. It definitely felt like she hit a word limit rather than drawing the story to the appropriate ending or one that would have certainly been better.

This is a really gripping read about a couple – Erin is a documentary filmmaker and Mark who is a banker – they’re about to be married but Mark has started being really moody. It turns out he’s in financial difficulties, while at the same time Erin’s career is going well as she’s gained access to a notorious gangster in prison and is going to be making a film about him. The couple tweak their wedding plans and manage to afford to still go on their dream honeymoon and that’s when life gets really complicated. This is a novel about moral dilemmas, and about trust. You do need to suspend disbelief at times but that doesn’t take away from the novel at all. This is such a gripping, fast-paced read, and one that I couldn’t stop thinking about whenever I wasn’t reading it. I’ll definitely be looking out for more books by this author!

Like wtf, the synopsis really didnt match the actual plot, this was kinda dumb honestly lol. Her inner monologue was annoying and redundant. The documentary storyline seemed out of place. Kinda boring, I just trucked through the audiobook

The book was very engaging. It was really hard to pur down the book. I was intrigued, interested and as nervous as Erin through the whole journey. I most definitely didn’t see the end coming.
You all totally need to read this one. I really want to see a movie based on this book. It would be very interesting! I think Jennifer Aniston would be a great Erin, what do you think?

Once I got into this book, I couldn’t stop listening. Typically I save my audio books for long drives but I had to listen to this one at home. I thirsted for the end so intensely I couldn’t save it for just the car. I listened to about 3/4 of it while driving and the rest at home. The end was nothing what I expected. Very good, very fast read/listen.

This book was so hard to get into and I still don’t understand the plot or the ending. Not worth your time to read.
