This one is good…like the others. The paid assassin is a chick this time. She’s smart. Wants to kill Bennett…like the others. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…this series is awesome!!

Alexandra Martinez, the Beautiful Death, is a paid assassin. She has been hired by a drug cartel to kill Michael Bennett, as retribution because his son, Brian was involved with a drug syndicate, and Bennett had killed one of its people.
Michael needs to track a trail of murders before he can figure out that it is Alex who is chasing him. His family is put in danger, and it comes to a frightening conclusion.
This is the latest installment in the Michael Bennett series, and it is satisfying. The book moves very quickly, with just enough excitement and intrigue to keep it interesting. Another solid Bennett novel.

There are a couple of James Patterson series that I have been reading for a long time. Michael Bennett is one of those, but I think this might be the last. Maybe it's all of his co-writers, or maybe his books are just growing tired, but this one was almost boring.

So much murder in this one... wow! Really enjoyed this one, I do have a soft spot for Michael Bennett and his 10 children. I hope this series keeps going strong for a while longer! Great listen in what has been a very stressful week
