This is an intense, emotionally charged story with strong main characters, the millionaire real estate mogul, Micah and Allie, a strong, successful real estate broker. The heat between them is scorching, but the pain that Micah hides runs deep. Allie also has secrets of her own.

This will keep you riveted all along. This is a great series and this is a great story!

This was my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. I liked Allie and Micah a lot, I liked the plot, but it felt like something was missing, although I can't quite put my finger on what. I didn't quite connect with the characters enough, although I felt like they were well-developed. I am looking forward to the next book featuring Allue's brother and best friend (I hope!)!

REALLY?!?

All that for about two sex scenes and for him not to even really be that kinky. Sounds like a 35 year old big baby to me. This whole book I seriously thought he was into some REAL kinky shit talking about "his demons" that he has to control in bed and all he really wants is some damn spanking, ropes, and nipple clamps? Ugh. Lame. Bdsm, my ass.

I was expecting and would have enjoyed more BDSM but overall, I really enjoyed this! Can't wait for the next book - I really like the main characters!

Could of been so much better

It was a decent read and I enjoyed it. Allie got in my nerves at times but overall an ok character lead. I believe both characters could of been slightly better. I am going to read the next one tho! Gotta see what happens with Daruis and Taylor.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I have to say it was a surprise. It is the first installment in her new series, and from the blub on the book cover I was under the assumption that this would take place in the BDSM club scene. While there is some small element of BDSM, it does not take place in a BDSM club. This book revolves around Micah Holt, a billionaire business man who is flawed, complex and vulnerable due to some tragedies in his past. I really liked his character. He was definitely an alpha but was not so rigid that he could see where and when he needed to change. I also liked Allie. She is a strong, independent and caring person. She knows what she wants her life to be and money is not that important to her. Both of these characters were shaped by circumstances in their past that lead them to struggle with a relationship. I also enjoyed the secondary characters as well. I also thought the author did a wonderful job of setting up the next book in the series at the end of this one. I will definitely be back to see what happens.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This did not influence opinion as the thoughts expressed are my own.

It was okay. I found myself skimming it and never did go back and read through the whole thing.

Nice

This was a good read. I like Allie as the h. She was a strong character. Granted, I think her reasoning for not sharing who she's related to was kind of silly. Micah was great H and I like him. One would think certain people will play a role in the book, but nothing. This book was very anticlimactic. I thought many things in this book could have played out to make this book more interesting. Honestly, I think the description of Micah being a soft dominant was correct. In my opinion, Micah had no reason to be scared about Allie finding out his taste for intimacy. Again, his taste was very mediocre. Overall I enjoyed the book and would read more from this author.

Allie knows when she meets Micah that he’s exactly the man she should stay away from, her mind knows this, but her body doesn’t want to listen.
Micah doesn’t know what it is about Allie that has him so intrigued, she’s smart confident and he can’t deny the chemistry, but he doesn’t want his darkness to destroy her.
Allie sees the other side to Micah and realises the only one holding them back is her, she knows there’s a darkness and pain that Micah tries to hid from everyone, but she sees it she just doesn’t know what caused it.
When Allie finds out what Micah’s been hiding, he pushes her away, Allie knows she can deal with his secrets but not pushing her away and he has to come to her now she won’t allow herself to be pushed away and broken hearted again.

This was excellent! I was hooked from the start with great characters and an interesting and exciting story line. I couldn't put it down!

I thought Allie and Micah were fantastic. I seriously loved Allie and her strength, determination, and her challenging ways. Micah was wonderful. The more I learned about him, the more I fell in love with him. When these two meet, sparks fly! I thought they had excellent chemistry. Love Allie and Michah coming together and the ups and downs they experienced. Neither are as the other expected and it creates serious heat and a nice amount of drama. I thought there was really great character development and awesome pace. I couldn't read it fast enough!

There were so many great details learned about both of them but Micah, he was awesome. So sweet and caring but also dominant and passionate. He had some past demons he was fighting and I love that Allie with all her strength was right there for him. I wonderful story of healing and love. I adored those emotional and vulnerable moments from both of them, really making me feel and getting wrapped up in their lives.

I liked all the characters that were introduced. The epilogue was excellent, making me extremely excited for the next story. Cannot wait!

I loved the Club Sin series by Stacey Kennedy and I was really exited to read this story from her new series. I think she knocked it out of the park with this contemporary romance. Great writing, characters and build. A nice amount of drama and tension and wow with the heat. It was a great mix! Honestly, I thought it was the perfect blend of everything I adore in a story. Loved it!
