I intern at DZ gallery and I had nothing to do today, so I picked up this lil book, have it a quick read, and was honestly so surprised how much I liked it. I love art history, dabbled in a few undergrad courses, so Gauguin was nothing but a concept to me. Such an honest, raw and almost humorous account of art making, art critics, other artists and literature. Hi personal anecdotes were so odd, almost funny and made me kinda sit back and go “huh?”

Overall I loved it. Enjoyable way to kill time
