I thoroughly enjoyed this, and I look forward to reading more from Riley Sager. The only thing that kept this from five stars was the ending was a little too neatly wrapped up with the final 'six months later' segment. I would have rather seen things happen in the time rather than just skipping ahead.

The ending kind of fell flat. There was this huge build up of supernatural elements and cult vibes only for the big reveal to be that rich people were doing unethical things and they thought they deserved to do so just because they're rich. If I wanted to read something with that kind of ending, I'd read the news.

God this book was good. So intense and well done!! I loved the concept and Sager executed it perfectly, I was constantly enthralled and I loved every second of this mind-boggling thriller.
