honestly kept forgetting they were supposed to be just 16 - they felt like 20somethings More imo. Beginning was a little slow but it did pick up and I found myself swept away. Def reading the sequel.

I have to say I was sceptic to the plot at first. A human and designed, machine-made “human” set to fall in love? Um… weird, I thought. And these “humans” rule the world… okay. But I had heard really good things about this book. And it’s sapphic. So I decided to pick it up. And I am glad I did. Easy to say I was pleasantly surprised!
