BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
I had no idea this was written and only saw it today when the author, a good friend of mine (yes, I'm namedropping / showing off), gave a shoutout here on GR for it. Not only did I get a hilarious short story, it meant doing some good by donating to a charity (100% of the proceeds go to Impact Justice).

It's a Christmas-y story about a tradition in the lovely city of Lurvaine and I found myself agreeing wholeheartedly with their city watch's measures with which they are punishing those who do not exhibit enough holiday cheer. *evil grin*
Anyway, the tradition involves a song festival and guess which bard wants to win "song of the season"? You guessed it! Well, technically, she's there to help an old friend (the organizer of said festival) because he's been threatened, but since she's already there, why not also sing? That is IF she can overcome some lethal obstacles, the effects of too much nog of various levels of quality and her companion first. *lol*

Best about this was seeing Grimple (and Banger), Heloise's aforementioned companion, again. Not that the rest of the cast or events weren't funny but he's kind of my favourite. :D
Heloise and Grimple just have the best chemistry and I couldn't stop chuckling all the way through this ghostly Christmas-y murder mystery.

Fantastic addition to the story (stories) so far. With very sharp writing and an important message. Definitely worth the 5$ I donated to Impact Justice for it. Tally-ho and pip-pip!

P.S.:
SpoilerDoes that mean Trump is a remenant?
