4 stars for Kamala's actual plot. Some really fantastic stuff going on there with her family and with Bruno. Imagine my annoyance when I discovered that the rest of the book was crossover stuff. Curse that infernal cliffhanger! I need to know what happens to Kamala!

The Spider-Man part was meh, but I'm not a huge fan of any of the crossovers. I'm much more invested in Kamala's journey than I am in her team-ups.

I'm going to keep reading these, but stop reviewing them. Terrific fantastic writing. Great art. Really annoying practice of packaging up a tiny handful of issues at a time.

This being the last volume for her story It felt short. There were some parts I enjoyed of course, but it wasn’t my favorite out of the four. I do think that if I were to rate the volumes this would be at the bottom.

Sometimes you have to face the end of the world to find the beginning of something better.

Mom's reaction to the super reveal. Awww. So much aww.

Another thing this volume has so much of is scenery chewing. I'm not really wanting to read the Captain Marvel comics, if the amount of dialogue she's capable of is any indication.

I am interested in Silk, after reading the last story, though. I think the main thing I'm taking away from this volume is that Silk is a very interesting character.

As always, Ms. Marvel gets a rousing 5 stars! This was such an interesting and completely in-character way to handle an apocalyptic story line that is not directly related to the book's main character. Kamala continues to be one of my favorite characters in the Marvel universe, the way she handles the crises thrown her way is inspiring, yet realistic. She doesn't try to be any bigger than she is, and yet she holds her own with such super heroes as Spider-Man and (her personal hero) Captain Marvel. Kamala's story and the way it weaves into the rest of the MU also gives the older heroes that she crosses paths with a chance to shine in a way they don't normally get to in their own books. There is such kindness and compassion in their interactions with Kamala, it makes me teary. Never thought I would get teary over a comic book ;)

The only complaint I have is that I don't know where to go from here! I know something reality-altering happens to the MU as we know it (something something Secret Wars???), but I don't know where to get the rest of Kamala's story. Still researching that, and hope I find the answer soon, because I am far from done with Ms. Marvel! :)

Also: "You are about to be pwned by Loki, God of Mischief! All Hail Loki! To be pwned by Loki is a great honor!" BEST. THING. EVER. ;P
