I had a lot of fun with this, more than I had expected, to be honest. It just has a lot of things that I really like.

There is a dual timeline, and I'm a big fan of those. In this case, we have the present and a mystery that happened 20 years ago. I love the setting and atmosphere and the limited cast of characters. Most of the book takes place at a summer camp in the Montreal area. In the present timeline, the camp season is over and only the inner circle is at the premises. The atmosphere is moody and eerie and kind of nostalgic. Most of the characters are siblings and I absolutely loved their dynamics. I live for well-written sibling dynamics. And I even enjoyed the mystery a lot. Even though some of it was predictable, there were still lots of surprises along the way. I had a suspicion very early on, and in the end it was correct. But I will admit that I changed my mind a few times in between. XD
Sadly, I hated the very ending, it was too dramatic for my taste.

But I would still recommend this book to people who like Agatha Christie mysteries. For me, it had a lot of similar vibes. Everyone is a suspect, and you have to figure out the timeline of events and who was where at which time.
