This book's ideas of what it means to be Irish in the U.S. have been on my mind pretty constantly as I've read this book the past few months. I'm definitely thinking more critically about my Irish heritage, and his book has me wanting to learn more and more.
The first section of this book was amazing and thought-provoking; the second part was a little over my head, as I am no expert at all on the Troubles, but it was still worth reading for me.
