Incredible story. Lara Love Hardin tells her experience being a felon, how that happened, and how she overcame it. At the beginning of the story, I felt sick. I felt sorry for her and her son. As the story continued, I wanted to give her a hug as she works to get her son back. Her (now ex) husband is a tool, and I just wanted to scream at her at times. This is a memoir that I honestly felt a lot of emotion while reading.
My one critique: I wish she had put a bit more into how she managed her recovery, how hard it was to juggle parenting while making all the appointments and requirements. The strength she must have had is unique.

A very interesting and well-written memoir. It's frustrating how our society is structured to not really let people reform or pull themselves back up.
