I’m so glad I finally picked this one up as it was a fun rom com with a unique premise. Olive was a compelling character who was easy to connect with and root for. I loved the way she loved her family especially Ami. Ethan was charming, sweet, and a little too trusting. Their banter was hilarious and witty. I enjoyed watching them crash against each other and slowly softening as they did so. I didn’t love how long the miscommunication went on. I also didn’t love how quick Ethan was to dismiss Olive’s observations about Dane. The plot sucked me in from the start and I read this one in a day. The ending was fitting and wrapped the story up nicely. I loved that the epilogue was in Ethan’s POV.

Fast paced feel good read. Minor annoyances with Olive, but you grow to understand her defensiveness. Finished in one sitting, lots of giggling moments! Quite cute with a happy ending.
