The world and the people around our protagonist are much more fleshed out in this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it and found all the characters much deeper and more interesting than book 1. An excellent sequel. Looking forward to the conclusion.

4.5 ⭐ (stars)

Absolutely loved this book, even at this current moment as I search wildly for any kind of emotion (The ending left me rather numb). The only problem I had with this book was the inspiration to read it. It would take some rather forceful mental chiding to pick it up and read but once I did, I didn't want to put it down. So that's why I'm giving it 4.5 stars.
