I picked up this book of poems knowing nothing about it, or the author. Mostly I grabbed it because I am obsessed with elephants and I love airports, and it seemed that with a title like this, it would be a good book for me.

I was partly right. While I found some the poetry interesting, there wasn't a lot that really stuck out to me, even less than a month later, as I write this review, there's very little I recall about the book. Maybe, the next time I have my copy of the book in my hand, I can go through and find the parts that stuck out. Because that's how I get the most out of poetry.

Overall, I didn't love it, and I didn't hate it. I think this is a good book for those who want to like poetry but can't stand "flowery dramatic language". It's not so much about poetic moments, as it is about the everyday moments, that could be poetry.
