This is an interesting book. If more people spoke out and penalties for violent offenders were harsher I believe we'd have fewer unsolved crimes.

I am morbidly obsessed with everything true crime so I was so excited to listen to this. Those of you who have read I'll Be Gone In The Dark by the late Michelle McNamara or who have listened to My Favorite Murder will be already aware of Billy Jensen and the amazing work he has done to help solve murders and more.

I knew this was going to be a fascinating listen but I wasn't prepared for just how good it was. The level of work, effort and money that Jensen has put into helping people find lost loved ones, fugitives and murderers is insane!

Within this book he details just how it all started, why it started and why he keeps going. The book is filled with fascinating stories of some very tragic cases. Some will stay with me for a long time, especially that of Henryk Siwiak.

I've seen some people complain about the format of the book that it jumps around a bit from case to case but I actually enjoyed that aspect because it reflects the reality of the work and nature of trying to get justice for these victims.

If you have any interest in true crime, even a passing one, this needs to be on your reading list.

Interesting part-memoir, part-amateur-true-sleuth-instruction-manual. Shows that amazingly there are good things that can come out of social media.
