This book was in my Little Free Library and I was curious about this series, having heard so much about it, both good and bad. I quite enjoyed this book. There was a mixture of low humor with some great vocabulary words that would be easy to discern from context clues. With comics, chapters, and some interactions with the book (mini-flip stories), this was quite a fun book!
Basically, the premise is that George and Harold travel in time and accidentally end up in a parallel universe where Mr. Krupp is nice but that universe's versions of themselves are evil. When they finally make it back to their own world, they bring the others back with them and will have to battle to save the world they know.

A Middle School book I read in High School.
Not much of a captivating read, for people who want a fast-paced, fun and light-hearted read

Book eight in the Captain Underpants series.
Harold and George's trip in the purple potty goes very wrong and they end up in an alternate reality where the library is full of good books, teachers are helpful and caring, and school cafeteria food is delicious.
Alas, the Harold and George in this reality are evil and their hero, Captain Blunderpants, wants to help them defeat our heroes!

I enjoyed reading this book to my son and he enjoyed the story a lot. His favorite part was the flip-o-rama sections.

A wonderful read from my childhood, one I’d certainly suggest for other youngsters. Whilst it is not my all-time favourite childhood read I can still recall all the details of this one meaning it certainly left a lasting impression upon my young mind.
And isn’t that what we want with children’s books, for them to leave a positive lasting impression?
